I’ve always wanted to help people when they were struggling, even from a very young age! I started university right after high school and eventually found myself in a social work class and was taken with it right away.

With my bachelors degree in Social Work, I worked in a number of different areas including geriatrics, palliative care,  and employment counselling, but mostly within the mental health & addictions field. I was a Registered Social Worker with the BC College of Social Workers for many years and am now a Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers.
